Japan 2017: Osaka, Day One

And don't touch the Geisha!

No selfies! (Monopods)

This morning we decided to be lazy and order room service for breakfast. Since hotel check-in at Osaka wasn’t until 3pm, we spent the morning shopping in a small area in Kyoto. We explored a Gashapon shop, a Pachinko casino, and a bunch of other small shops.

Since the Shinkansen runs to Osaka multiple times a day and is less than half an hour away we waited until almost noon to depart. The Osaka train station, and even the city itself, consists of multiple levels – some above ground and some below.

Merry Christmas!

Welcome to Osaka!

When we got into Osaka, the city was beautiful.

Tomorrow we are planning to go to Himeji Castle, which dates to 1333, and we’ll spend the evening in Osaka!
